NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
SEALED BIDS for the 2025-2026 Tree Cutting and Chipping Contract to be completed by December 31, 2025 for the Village of Cuba, New York can be mailed by regular mail to Village of Cuba, 17 East Main Street, Cuba, New York 14727. Information for bidders, specifications, proposal form etc. are ready to be picked up at The Village Hall Clerk’s Office; 17 E Main St. Cuba, NY 14727. Itemized sealed bids can be hand delivered during regular business hours 7-noon & 12:30-4:30 Mon.-Weds. and 7:30-11:30 on Fridays. There is also an “overnight drop slot”. Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “BID FOR TREE WORK”. An executed “Non-Collusive” Bidding Certificate shall accompany each proposal. The Village of Cuba reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or to readvertise for bids, if the best interest of the Village will be served thereby. Bids are due by 10:00 am 9/16/2025 and will be opened at that time and then presented /awarded at the Village of Cuba, NY Board Meeting beginning at 6:00 pm 9/16/25.

Shut off notices for unpaid water/ sewer invoices will be mailed soon from the Village of Cuba, NY. If you have a past due balance- PLEASE CALL TO MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS or pay your bill in full prior to September 2nd at 4:30 p.m.
Please note, The Village of Cuba, NY water/ sewer online pay site is on the new website address www.cubany.gov - under the Village tab- I Want To- Departments>Village Clerk Treasurer> then scroll down to the SERVICES- Online water and Sewer payments.
The drop slot is now located to the right of the Village Hall on the non- entrance door. (pictured ex.) The village accepts payments via mail, drop slot, in person cash, check or money or online. (We honor postmarks up to last day to pay- DPW will be out to shut off the following morning after the last day to pay.)
The new ADA compliant ramp will soon be installed in front of the Village Hall, thank you for your patience while renovations are wrapped up. (Please call us during normal office hours if you need one of us to meet you outside to get your payment and we can issue you a receipt until renovation is complete)
