PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Chautauqua, New York, will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 16th beginning at 3:30pm, in the Veteran’s Memorial Room, located at 2 Academy Street, Mayville, New York 14757 for the following requested variance(s):

Case #1 3:30pm: The requested variance of Joseph Sedlak for placement of an 1800 sq. ft. pole barn/storage structure. The property is located at 6423 Whallon Road in Mayville, NY and designated on the official Chautauqua County tax map as Section(s) 246.13 Block 2 Lot 8 which is in a Residential Lakeside district. It requires an area variance under Town Code 143-16 (A), 143-12 A and 143-17 B for Size of structure and front yard setback distance.

Case #2: 3:40pm: The requested variance(s) of Kevin and Sandra Cote for the demolition and removal of an existing garage; relocation of an existing shed; construction of new 30 x 30 pole barn/garage structure. The property is located at 6432 Galloway Road and designated on the official Chautauqua County Tax Map as Section (s) 246.18 Block 1 Lot 24 located in a Residential Lakeside district. The variances requested are as follows under Town Code(s) 143-16 A, 143-12 A, 143-17 A, 143-17 C, 143-17 D and 143-18 B. New Garage would be 900 SF, allowable under code is 775 SF an adjustment of +125 SF is requested. The Lot width is 51.55 LF and allowable under code is 100 LF, an adjustment of -48.45 LF is requested. Lot size is 94333.65 SF allowable under code is 15,000 SF an adjustment of -5566.35 SF is requested. Relocation of the shed on the property, needs a variance for right yard setback distance for -2 LF needed.
