The Catherine Schuyler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution have worked very hard to have a fitting and lasting tribute to the Patriots of the American Revolution who are connected to Allegany County. A monument will be erected depicting the elements of the Allegany County Patriots in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Barring any unforeseen circumstance, the monument will be unveiled and dedicated during Angelica's Heritage Weekend on Saturday August 1 at the East end of the Angelica Park Circle. Time and program to be announced. If you would like to donate, please open and download the attached flyer. Cookbooks are also on sale for $26 each and go towards the cost of the monument. Envelopes to make a donation to help DAR are available in the Town Clerk's office along with a copy of the Cookbook for purchase. The Town of Angelica is proud to partner with DAR on this endeavor.
