Dunkirk Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 20th, 2025 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, January 21st, 2025.

I will receive taxes at the Town Clerk’s Office 4737 Willow Rd from January 9,2025-April 1,2025
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each weekday except legal holidays.
Payments can be dropped off in the drop box which is located in the front of right off the building or mailed directly to
4737 Willow Road, Dunkirk, NY 14048. PAYMENT WILL BE RETURNED IF CHECK IS NOT WRITTEN OUT FOR THE EXACT AMOUNT DUE.
The pentalties are as follows:
Thru February 7, 2025 – penalty free
February 8 thru February 28,2025 – 1% on original bill
March 1 thru April 1, 2025 – 2% on original bill
(After March 1,2025 add $2.00 notice fee)
After April1,2025 taxes must be paid to Chautauqua County Tax Department. Info is on back of your tax bill.

NOTICE OF ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Law (Article 7 of the Public Officers Law) Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Dunkirk will hold its’ Annual Organizational Meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7,2025 at the Dunkirk Town Hall, 4737 Willow Rd, Town of Dunkirk at which time any unlawful matter may come before the Town Board. By order of Resolution dated December 17,2024.
