DEC Chautauqua Lake Wetland Proposed Designation Change

We all have been hearing about and reading of the NYS DEC's proposed changes in the wetland designation for Chatauqua Lake and many have had questions regarding how those proposed changes will affect us. Herbicide Map 2023

Solitude Lake Management will begin applying the herbicide Aquathol k to control curlyleaf pondweed on Thursday, May 25th, starting first thing in the morning. Depending on wind conditions, the application may extend into Friday, May 26th.
