Property Tax Collection Information for 2025 Property Taxes
From January 7, 2025 thru April 1, 2025 property tax payments may be mailed to the address below.

You may also pay your bill in person on Saturday, January 11, 2025 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM and Saturday, February 1,2025 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the Town Highway Building, 10106 Ravlin Hill Road, Clymer, NY 14724
Please pay attention to this important information regarding payment of taxes:
- Receiver's Stub is required with all payments. It is located at the bottom of the bill.
-All payments (cash and check) must be exact amount.
-If you request a tax receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope or a valid (readable) email address, without either of these no receipt will be sent.
-Tax payments are accepted as of the U.S. Mail Postmark Date (Section 925 of the Real Property Tax Law).
IMPORTANT DATES: the penalties are as follows -
January 7 through February 7, 2025 penalty free.
February 8 through February 28, 2025 1.00% on original bill.
March 1 through April 1, 2025 2.0% on original bill
After April 1, 2025, taxes must be paid to the Chautauqua County Tax Department, 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, NY 14757, with a 5% penalty and interest at the rate of 1.00% per month from February 5,2025, such interest to be computed on the total amount of tax plus penalty.
IMPORTANT: If this property has been sold or otherwise disposed of, you are required to forward this Tax Bill to the new owner or return it to the Tax Collector, with the name and address of the new owner, if available.
