PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing of the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year 2025 will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 6:30PM at the Cuba Town Hall, 15 Water St., Cuba, NY. Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of Cuba will meet and review said preliminary budget at the time and place stated above and that at said hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled there in pursuant to section 113 of the law. Said budget will be completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk at 15 Water St., Cuba, NY, where it will be available for inspection during regular business hours, Tues. and Thurs. 8am-12pm and Wed. 3pm-6pm.
The proposed salaries of the Town offices are as follows:
Supervisor $8,000
Clerk/Collector $17,742.00
Council 4@ $1,000
Justice $10,000
Hwy. Supt. $63,600.00
Assessor $52,700.00

Open House Resource Fair-Cuba Library

Come on down to the Cuba Library in Cuba NY for our Open House Resource Fair to meet representatives from USDA-Rural Development, JCC Workforce Development, Creekside Chapel, Office of Aging for Cattaraugus and Allegany County, ACCORD Corporation, Andover Historic Preservation Corp, Bishop Sheen Housing, Directions in Independent Living, Northern Energy Services and Training, and Cornell Cooperative Extension.
There will be information and programs on home repair, affordable housing, childcare, long-term care, head start services, medicaid application assistance, nutrition assistance, recreation and retirement, workforce development, and energy efficiency programs for homeowners and renters.
The Open House Resource Fair is for homeowners, renters, landlords, senior citizens, family's, small businesses, and low to moderate income eligible residents. It is open and free to everyone!

**Crossing Guards Needed**

The Village of Cuba is accepting applications on a rolling basis for Part-Time
Crossing Guard and Crossing Guard Alternate positions.
The Crossing Guard position works daily, Monday through Friday, one 1/2 hour in the morning and
one 1/2 hour in the afternoon, coinciding with school schedules.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years old or older, successfully pass a criminal background
check and drug screening, and have reliable transportation and a working phone.
Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Village of Cuba Board of Trustees will hold a
public hearing, in addition to the monthly Board Meeting on the 11th day of September 2024, at the Cuba Circulating Library 39 East Main St. Cuba, NY, basement meeting room at 6:00 P.M. for the purpose of discussing the capital fee for The Water Improvement Project loan repayment. This meeting is also a schedule change for the regular monthly meeting originally scheduled for September 16, 2024 at the same time and location, where regular monthly business will be discussed.
