Village *Brush Day/ Yard Waste, Holiday Trees*

***Attention Village of Cuba Residents*** The Village DPW intends to make one last pass of the community for the month of January on Monday 1/8/24 to collect brush/ holiday trees, and yard waste that you have bagged. Please have it to the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. Monday morning. They will not be going back around until Monday, February 5th.

The Village of Cuba, NY will be closed Monday January 1, 2024 to celebrate the New Year! They will re-open Tuesday January 2, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. Happy New Year! Refuse and Recycling will move to Thursday this week due to the holiday on Monday.

Village of Cuba, NY - No Sort Recycling 2024- The recycling calendar continues with every other week in 2024- beginning with THURSDAY (due to the Monday holiday) 1/4/24, then continuing every other week on Wednesday- 1/17/24 and so on.
TOWN-Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE is hereby given that the Cuba Town Board will conduct a public hearing at 6:45pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Cuba Town Hall, 15 Water Street, Cuba, NY. The purpose of this hearing is to hear comments on passing Local Law #1 to establish a planning board of the Town of Cuba. The Town Board of Cuba will meet and any person may be heard in favor of or against establishing a planning board.

The Village of Cuba, NY Clerk's Office will be closed Friday 12/22/23, Monday 12/25/23 and Tuesday 12/26/23. The Clerk's Office will re-open Wednesday 12/27/23 normal business hours.
The DPW will be closed Monday 12/25/26 and will resume normal hours Tuesday 12/26/23. In case of water/sewer emergency call 585-268-9600- Alt.911 County Dispatch #- they will direct the call appropriately.
Village- 2024 Monthly Board of Trustees meeting change

The Board has voted unanimously to change the monthly Village of Cuba, NY Board of Trustees Meetings for 2024 to the Cuba Circulating Library- 39 East Main St. at 6:00 p.m. in the Library meeting room downstairs the third Monday of the month (Except February- the meeting with be Tuesday the 20th.)

TOWN Special Meeting

Please take notice that the Town Board of the Town of Cuba will be holding a special meeting on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00am at the Cuba Town Hall located at 15 Water Street. The purpose of this meeting is to pay the final bills for the year 2023, make interline transfers and discuss the Town's contract with Richardson and Pullen, P.C.
